Please Help! LOGO8 FS:02

Today I can't program the Logo because it is asking for a password. I haven't set a password. Also the device has 3 menu's now so it seems that the device is not in administrator mode. When I want to switch to ADMIN it asks for a password. I've tried "LOGO", "logo", "ADMIN" and "admin", but it does not help. I know for sure I haven't set any password yesterday so I'm a bit confused. Is there a way to reset the device or something like that. Please advise. With kind regards, Harmen Schippers

This is only possible from the LOGO! 8.FS4 (FS: 04). If the LOGO! is in operator mode, then the entry in the menu for switching is "Switch to ADMIN". The default password is "LOGO". I've had luck with erasing the program from the logo, but I can't go into admin mode, because the password "LOGO" does not work. I've never changed this password. Is there no other way to go back to admin mode? or reset the logo? I've never had this issue before.

It seems that you can change the password by clearing the program and the pasword first when connected to the device. Then in "Acces control settings" you can change the password at the " Control operation from the LOGO! TD". This seems weird, but behind this function you'll also change the password for the device. After that you change from OP mode to ADMIN mode. Thanks!!

"LOGO" is the default password and this was not accepted. That sounds as if you changed the password and did not know it anymore.

Siemens support also did not know how this would occur. The only thing I really know is that I didn't changed the password between 2 days ago and yesterday and I've never changed it to be honest. The only thing different is that I used V8.0 two days ago and V8.1.1 yesterday.
