muttu Posts: 16 Rating: (0)	Dear all i have to connect the encodersvia profibus right and left side of the cpu, for that i suppose to use only one DP port. and alsothe both right and left side n/w should start from the same cpu. for this how i have to connect whattype of connector i should use please inform me. Easy to do with any tyoe of Profibus-certified connectors. You can buy them from Siemens, Phoenix Contacts, and many other manufacturers. The following attachment shows how you can use a typical Profibus connector either at the cableend (with terminator ON) or in the middle of the network, as you wish to do. Simply makesure that the terminator switch is OFF when connecting to any node in the middle of the network, and ON at both ends.
