Hello muttu; If I understand correctly, you want to have the CPU in the middle of the network, not at an extremity? Easy to do with any tyoe of Profibus-certified connectors. You can buy them from Siemens, Phoenix Contacts, and many other manufacturers. The following attachment shows how you can use a typical Profibus connector either at the cableend (with terminator ON) or in the middle of the network, as you wish to do. Simply makesure that the terminator switch is OFF when connecting to any node in the middle of the network, and ON at both ends.
