PROBLEM SIMOREG 6RA22 & REPLACE TYPE

isurya Posts: 107 Rating: (0)	Hi, I have old type SIMOREG 6RA22 and still working until today , more than 15 years old I think. At the moment I have an ERROR code "F04" on simoreg 6RA2277-6DV62-0. Please help meto get technical information about HOW TO ELIMINATE this error code. This error has no effect to the machine, still running well. Also I need the info about DIRECT REPLACEMENT type for these SIMOREG : 6RA2277-6DV62-0 6RA2275-6DV62-0 6RA2225-6DV62-0 Regards, INDRA

F04 means that you have problems with supply, power section, voltage measuring channel, contactor, fuses etc. first of all check supply voltage on Simoreg supply terminals, if is correct you have problem with measuring channel.

Please check parameter P91. Also refer section 8.14 for switching out fault.Also please check p87 value, if it is x1 or x3.Please check the sequence of disconnection of terminal 17 with K2 relay. If terminal 17 is disconnected before drop out of K2 relay, F04 may get display. Please see the attachements for more information. Hope this shall help you. DEEP. The drive I am working on is a 6RA2291-6DV42-0, The drive occasionally gets an F04 The machine has been running for 18 years, the mains has been scoped, there are no brown-outs or glitches on the power. Line side fuses are ok. The F04 fault is not masked in P91, and the drive is set to auto-restart when/if mains power is restored by P87=13. That's why I'm thinking it must be a measurement issue.
