Problem with CPU 315 2DP, CP343-1 Advenced and NetPro

Mi-k-l Posts: 41 Rating: (1)	Hi all I have a project with devices mentioned above. I would like to configure my network with NetPro. I am doing it with the help S7-CP's Industrial Ethernet Configuring and Commissionning. When I want to creat a new connection, there is a problem. In the help when they go to Insert -> New Connection, they can see there HW configuration in the pop-up window. In my side, I can't see it. In the attachment, you can see my problem. Calm_down Posts: 324 Rating: (30)	Hello, well I guess first of all you have to network the Networkinterfaces you have. This has to be done in STEP 7 HW Config, at best. Select the Industrial Ethernet CP, go to Properties. Selct the Networksettings and add a Network, you should see there someting like "not networked". If you have your interface not networked you can not communicate. Stay calm

I found the following example within the Product Support. Sample program for the SEND-RECEIVE interface with the FC5 (AG_SEND) and FC6 (AG_RECV) blocks for S7-300 Have a look at it. There you can also see, that you have to configure your network in NetPro. Sabine

As far as I know youonly have communication-connections between CPU-CPU, CPU-PC(Application/OPC/WinCC). PB/IE CPs are gateways between CPU and partner end-point (other CPU or PC). Why you try to figure out how to communicate between CPU and CP on the same rack? Dec

In my project, I have to send a DB in the CP to allow somebody to get back this information. To begin, I have wanted to write several code line in the CP343-1 Ad. But I can't. So I thought to send my DB to the CP. But I don't arrive there. Then, with this DB in the CP, I would like to get back the DB in .dat. Isn't it? Finally, I take the .dat file to open it with excel. But it is an other history Mi-k-l

Calm_down Posts: 324 Rating: (30)	Hello Mi-k-l, well, first of all, you can not put any code to the CP anyway, I am sorry. If you want to store date to the FTP Server you will have to use FTP Functions on the CPU, to use this you need a TCP Connection that has the option FTP Connection directed to your local CP. It will not work any other way. Stay calm.

Actually, I use the AG_send function. For the moment, I test slowly each function , but, for this first test, you guest: It doesn't work! The Ag_send me back the error 8090: I don't found it in the online help. Regards, Mi-k-l
