problem with MMC card

Boong Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	Dear All, I have problem with MMC card: - I inserd MMC card into PC, and Format it by Windown, - When I inserd MMC card in PLC, PLC is error, I disinserd MMC card out from PLC, PLC is ok. What happen to MMC and What should I do, Pls Tks,

I don't know what kind is your PC and what is Windown but look at: Why is the MMC no longer recognized by SIMATIC devices after it has been formatted in a third-party device? and Which devices can you use to read from or write to an S7-300 MMC (Micro Memory Card) outside the CPU? regards

Tks Boong Hello If an MMC of the S7-300 is used for non-SIMATIC purposes or is formatted in a third-party device, then the internal structure of the MMC is overwritten and cannot be restored... To repair you'll need to reformatting the MMC card with the special Siemens disk format. Bu you can't find this tool. Other decision, but if I were in your place, I wouldn't be use (just to loose extra time) go in GOOGLE and you can find some advices. The right way is to buy new card. regards
