What network installation do you have? What diagnostics can you give us (LEDs flashing, diagnostic buffer contents...)? My experiencetells me that the example projects in Siemens' support website are generallysimple and effective, even if you have to adapt them to the CPUs you are trying to connect.It often comes down to the rogrammer not following the recipe correctly... Jesper Pedersen Posts: 279 Rating: (30)	A direct connection between the onboard DP ports on the mentioned CPUs, is only possible if one CPU is setup as master, and the other is setup as slave to the master. If master-slave isnt acceptable,then you can connect them via ethernet. The two mentioned CPUs support direct S7 connections via the onboard PN ports.
