Hello all experts,

i am trying to communicate S7-300 with a 6RA70 with sfc14 & sfc15. i send in attached the plc side logic. everything is ok and i recieve the status of drive but drive dont recieve the control word and all of the bits are 0 always.

below configuration are related to the Profibus in drive side.

P648= K3001 1ST PZD CB/TB1

P654= B3100 1ST PZD 0

P655=B3101 1ST PZD 1

P658=B3102 1ST PZD 2

i checked everything but i couldnt find the solution.

please check and answer.

For the difference ID address for sfc15, i changed addtess to check if the address has problem in both side( hardware configuration and ID). But sfc15 doesnt have error, on the other hand i check sending data by Load and Transfer methode from MW to PQW, but the same result, 

For Sfc14 i read all of data ( all of 6 pzd) but i couldnt write, is there any parameter in drive side that be wrong.

Also i have to mention that i dont have any error in plc and drive side about HW configuration

I will send the online situation in Plc side and drive side

It seems some address in drive side must be change, does it need to configure some U parameter in drive side related to recieve address? I mean U710-U712, because for transmite data we need some change

Hello,

Since you mentioned you are able to read drive status, I presume PLC hardware project & drive address & communication is correct.

Based on above, please refer NETWORK 3 of attached snap. In SFC14 & SFC15 hardware ID is different. In SFC14 it is 10C (HEX) = 268 & SFC15 118 (HEX) = 280. So please check the drive address & correct it accordingly.

Hello,

In which format you have attached DC drive backup file? It is not Drivemonitor DNL file hence could not open the program. Furthermore do not know your drive side parameter settings.

Moreover I checked PLC program & you need to correct command & set point values.

1. Control word 1 i.e. START, ENABLE, STOP etc. commands which you apply are wrong, i.e. you are transferring 9C7E (H) value, instead you need to transfer 47F command to start drive, please note control word 1 bit 0 isON command which is edge controlled & bit 10 must be set 1 so that PLC control is applicable.

2. Set point which you apply is wrong. Please note 16384 is decimal value which needs to convert in HEX format & then transfer, e.g. 16384 (D) = 4000 (H) = Max speed. So please correct your PLC logic accordingly.

thank you so much for sending useful data, the problem was in tenth bit of control word. i didnt do this bit to 1, it was 0, i can not control drive. drive start now, but i have problem in setpoint, it seems it work without setpoint, armature output voltage is less than 2 volt while setpoint is 5 pecent of max scale. i try to find the problem. if you have any idea please tell me.

Which value you send to drive as SETPOINT? 

Since do not know your drive parameter setting, at this point I can only guide you at PLC side.

 Hi Sir,

the problem resolved completely, value or address of setpoint had not problem, it needs to do BIT 11 of Control word= 1 to select fW or BW direction of rotation. without selection of direction drive doesnt give the setpoint.
