PROFIBUS DP EXCHANGE DATA

KERA Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hi! I have two CPU 315-2DP-2AG10-0AB0, Ver:2.6. I want to exchange more than 240 bytes between them. I have used the PROFIBUS DP Master-Slave protocol that is included in hardware configuration. I have red that i can use the "AG_SEND" and "AG_REV". I have also red that these functions are used with PROFIBUS FDL.Does CPU-315-2DP support Profibus FDL? And if so how can i configure these Functions? Is there any example? Is it possible to use Profibus DP and FDL in the same bus? Thank in advance..

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (411)	Hello KERA, I wonder, as you can not use FDL with the CPU... did you ever thought about using a DP/DP Coupler... especially two of them? Because than you can transfer some more than 240 Bytes of Data, even so you may have to check the Data consistancy yourself... just as an idea. Best regards J_Bell
