Hi Max, PROFINET IO uses different communication protocols for different tasks. The main task - the exchange of IO data - is performed cyclically. However, this is the view of the communication protocol. In the context of your PLC program, the CP 343-1 does not provide IO data as long as you do not send/receive them from/to the CPU to/from the CP. In contrast to an integrated PN interface, where the IO data are exchanged by the operating system, you must use communication blocks. Please refer to the FAQ "How do you program communication blocks FC11 and FC12 for the PROFINET IO controller?". Kind regards |
