Project Archiving error...

PPND Posts: 103 Rating: (6)	Dear All, i am facing an error while arciving a multiproject... Actually my archiving starts normally and then by the end i get the error popup as attached. Even though i get this error the archive file is made withafile size a bit smaller than the one which is formed when no such error popup comes. i have observedfew more thing regarding this archive file; 1. When the archive file formed is retrieved it reterives without any error but it has only the project and not the library folder. 2. On the next time while archiving i jus hppen to observe and found that actually it is not adding the library files into the archive as it does while archiving as the last step in archive. 3. this error popup doesnot come always but its a random behaviour. if any one knows what is this error all about please help me as the occurance of this popup even though nor always but is repetitions are increasing which is making me more concerned.... Krrish !! Posts: 73 Rating: (6)	Dear PPND, Did you try re-organizing the project before taking backup ? What did you archive ? Single-project or multi-project ? Personally, I feel there is no error in your project but is something to do with the archiving program - PKZIP. Also, you may try archiving the project on another PC, for example, just to make sure. PPND Posts: 103 Rating: (6)	Dear Krrish!!, i have tried both the things mentioned by you also to inform i am archiving the multi project. i have reorganised the project also, as mentioned the problem is not occuring always but is random and comes sometimes only... i too doubt that this is something related to PKzip but want to know if some one has faced a simillar problem and found a specific solution for the same. Thanks for your reply.

ABN Posts: 212 Rating: (12)	Hi, I do agree with Krrish...!! this issue is related version mismatch. Please let me know, is this project initially created in some other PC/ Some other version of PCS7 (incl of Version / SP / HF) and process of archiving u are doing is on PC with some other installations???? Also, just try to run wincc script (reset_wincc.vbs) and see if the same error persists. try to retrieve the project, taken after killing winCC and see if your libraries are visible.I am sure you must have tried this option before consulting to forum... It reminds me for one more solution....I see the project name and path are toooooo long..try to save the project directly in folder made in any hard drives...(not directly to removable disk). post your comments I am curious to know the same

PPND Posts: 103 Rating: (6)	Dear all, This happens randomly and it happens with some other project too.... Also to inform this project is being developed from initial with the same software installed on the PC only thing is it is developed in germany and then brought to India and modified by me. i know that there is no mismatch of the PCS7 version during development as i have taken the installed softwares details from the ES in germany and prepared the ES in india with the same installation. still it is giving this error.
