Project Couldn't Save

Try creating a folder in "my documents" or using the one that is already there (the standard default location).

If you want to store it on your desktop, create a link to the folder on your desktop instead.

my system automation is :

TIA Portal V14 Pro SP1 U3 ( Step 7 Pro V14 SP1 U3 & Wincc Pro V14 SP1 U3)

I install TIA Recently ... and create sample project but when i Save project Encountered with 

4600:000051 => The project could not be saved

Perhaps uninstall WinCC V14 SP1, then install V13 SP1.  Upgrade V13 SP1 to V14.  Then apply SP1 and any updates and hardware support packs.

My prior comment is try saving your project in your "my documents\automation\" folder, NOT the desktop as shown in your original post.

my installed path is default on C drive

source of problem is installation of Wincc Pro v14 SP1

i reinstall it again and encountered error ... i make zip attach file with error and Data Log of installation file in attachment thanks for check it

I had an incomplete install of WinCC Advanced V13 SP2.  After a restart, I was able to launch the install program.  It came back and said it was already installed.  After that, all the other software recognized it was available.

It was a very strange install log followed by a head-scratching "what?", and then I said, well, it is seems to be working, so run with it.

There are 2 log files created during the install.  One is the posted version, short version.  The longer version may have additional information that may allow you to find what preconditions are required for the runtime to properly install.  Perhaps after reviewing (searching for the word "fail" using windows notepad) that log, you will be able to just install the missing piece manually.

i forgot said ... after reinstall in new program i can Save my project anywhere and use wincc basic or advance  but cant Use "Wincc Runtime Pro" cause to incomplete install wincc pro v14 sp1

Please describe details about your project and how it came to you.

Was it created from scratch?  Did you insert blocks from a global or local library that might contain components your license does not support?
