PS307 supply current model choice

Dear,

In distributed IO, we have installed 2 IM153, 1 SM321, 6 SM331 and 1 SM331 RTD cards.

Currently we are using PS307 5A power supply model.

We would like to add 4 SM331 cards, Before these 4 cards installation, we would like check whether current PS307 5A model has enough power capacity.

Could you let me know where I can find out power consumption for IM153, SM312 and SM331 operation?

Dear Dolpoong,

Already you're using 8 modules beside the IM, So I suppose that ypu're using IM 153-2 HF (which supports 12 modules beside).

According to this assumption you'll find in the following link that each IM 153-2 HF will consume 650 mA @ 24 VDC in the field of (Input current)

Similarly you can search for your IO modules and from technical data tab you'll be able to get the current consumption, But it may be a little bit tricky for the IO modules as If you are supplying the signal from the same power supply you have to consider these signals in power consumption calculations.
