PLC S7-1212 Program Simatic step 7 basic V11 That is possible with using 2 timers (on-delay and off delay) or counting clock pulses of CPU.Simulation of S7 1200 is not possible withoout the hardware .But you can try PLCSIM V12 and S7 1500 as starting point.Same issue here: 3s ON , 6s OFF timer

Hi Bulram, If I read your original question, I understand you wish to generate a pulsing signal for 2 seconds and then pause for 20 seconds, before giving the next pulsing signal. If I am right.. * how quick do you want the signal to pulse? (high speed >> PTO function) * this question would be better served inside the TIA sub group. If I am wrong and you simply want to switch ON for 2 seconds and then pause for 20 seconds.. then by all means use the timers. We know this as a flip-flop timer and the concept is a must-have thing to know how to do. I use it regularly for operator lamp indications (with other time values). If this is the ONLY thing you do with the S7-1200 -- please consider a LOGO! PLC. Greetings, w

Demo software can be downloaded from Siemens' website, legally free. This includes also a reliable simulation inside the development envirinment. The software is called LogoSoft. If you later decide on buying a LOGO! (good investment) to play with.. you will need a cable and full-version software. Talk to us (forum) if something pops up again. w

Yes you understood right. Yes I have already Logo! but I using S7-1212 SIPLUS, becausethe device comes construction machine.

If the pulse is quick - I hope you have transistors for outputs. w

Bullram Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Yes I want generate a pulsing signal for 2 seconds and then pause for 20 seconds, but I have to make 8 different pulse like 2 seconds then pause 40 second, 2 seconds then pause 60 seconds and so on.I have the 8-position selection switch,so input is true all the time. That is the reason why I can`t use two timers.I am directing this pneumatic lubrication pumps. Logo! soft comfort program I have Asynchronous pulse generator and I can make that 2 seconds on then 20 seconds pause, I mean this

You want this (I think): _____ _____ _____ ____\| \|______\| \|______\| \|_____ T.on T.off T.on = 2s T.off = 20s --- and variations on the theme. The suggestion by "hdhosseini" should already put you on your way. Have you worked with the TIA software before? The use of timers gave me a problem when I first started using the S7-1200. The memory for each timer needs to be created first. Each output will consume x2 timers. Let us know if you do not know how to use TIA for the S7-1200. In essence the circuit looks like this: T2 -[/]-----------TON( T1, t.off ) T1 -[..]-----------TON( T2, t.on ) T1 output -[..]-----------( ) What you do with the 8 input selecttion switch, I am not sure. Talk to us in detail what you need to know more. ..without us doing the job for you. [smile] w
