PWM s7 313C

HI everyone

i want to ask how could i use the function pulse(SFB 49) to generate a PWM and is there any example program that would help me fully understand this function, i have three step motor and 313C to control them? please help

Hardware Gate: It is an option you can use to control the PWM function.

SIMATIC S7-300 CPU 31xC Technological Functions chapter "5.7.5 Gate Function of Pulse Width Modulation". You can read:

"A hardware gate (HW Gate). You can assign the hardware gate in the parameter
assignment screens. It is controlled via the digital input "Hardware gate"."

You can check the assigned terminal numbers under chapter "5.2.2 Pin Assignment"/Pin assignment CPU 313C (connector X2) or CPU 313C-2 DP, PtP (connector X1).

Note: The relation of SW/HW gate is described in the chapter 5.7.5.

Filter frequency: The HW gate is a DI in some extent, so its signal is filtered within the card. Similar question discussed in Filter on Digital Inputs.
