Question - PPI Network and PC-Access

AlfonsoAD Posts: 8 Rating: (1)	Hello everyone. I want to add 2 S7-200 to an existing PPI network of 10 S7-200. I want to know if it's possible to use PC-Access and WinCC to communicate with all the PLC's. I've read here that it can be connected to a maximum of eight target systems at the same time. So, could I use it in my PPI network? Thank you very much.

HuoLong Posts: 18 Rating: (1)	You could connect up to 32(127slave) devices into a PPI network (refer chapter 7 of S7-200 manual). What you talking about, are the simultaneous connections which the CPU or CP cards offers. But i guess you had a PC/PPI cable. However, if simulataneous is not possible/applicable the CPU/software use standard PPI (on device after another). It makes not difference if you had 10 or 12 slaves.
