Greetings foofbob, First thing first, to determine which data are you need is depend on what MM4 series you are using. For example I usually useMM440 with PPO 1, 4 PKW 2 PZD, meaning I'll have 4 word data area for acycliccommunication and 2 word for cyclic communication. Next issue is communicating with profibus, these manuals can help you. Micromaster Profibus Optional Board and Sample FB to communicate With the manuals, hopefully you can get/set data from/to any parameter withinMM4x via Profibus. So to know which parameter is the rated power, current, etc you'll need Parameter List (e.g MM440). Cheers, Bang_Kee |
