if you want ot read HR154 from your MB device, did you try with offset +1?

Remove all line except lin1. Then change HR154 to 155 and try again.

To read values in LOGO! memory you start online test in LSC and then open the datatable:

Then the data table is shown. Here add VD1 and select float as format.I hope your other settings are right and you have a ModbusTCP unit connected.

I find that if I want to get a 16 bit integer, and configure a NAI port directly, it works well.

but if I link the Modbus device to the Logo it does not work.

I suspect the issue is that in the setup of the Modbus device, the Port is set as Assigned, and is greyed out so I am unable to set it to Port 502 as in the first example. How can the port setting be enabled?

I have tried with a new project, with adding devices one at a time, and I can find no circumstance when that box is not greyed out (disabled). Please tell me the steps I need to take to enable this setting
