Reading Parameters from PM500/1200 with S7-400H

yes there is no port  as Ground in PM and i connect directly pin 8 in CP341 to Groundi am trying to do exact what you have written,in HWconfiguration in S7 which Transmission Procedure in our case should we choose?RK 512 or 3964R?

 I think you meant protocol. you have to choose ASCII.

communication partner and place it in a data block or to provide data to
the communication partner.) or

FB 8 P_SND_RK(The P_SND_RK function block allows you to send an entire area or
subarea of a data block to a communication partner or fetch data from
the communication partner)?In general what OB or DB FC do we need?As you now i want to just Read Data from PM1200!

Hello Vahid-T,
you must choose Modbus Master protocol.

You need FB7 and FB8.

I forgot to mention that you needs the rack functions.  if you follow the explanation in this post you should be able to do your setup. otherwise, you need to read and understand how it work first and how these functions work.
