JMJ Posts: 487 Rating: (45)	I am not sure user archive will work here. In use archive we have once recipe which has different variables. But here one recipe has 6 steps and the each step has different values forthose variable. One why of doing is using excel. Another way is creating your own custom table in WinCC runtme database. You are allowed to do it as long as you are doing it in conjuction with WinCC project. You can use VB scripts to read from and write to thistable. Use which ever is confortable for you. Excel may help you show it in graphical format

JMJ Posts: 487 Rating: (45)	I do not have sample handy. But to do this you should understand database little bit. You have to open MSSQL database and create your own table in the runtime databsase of WinCC project (just a prefered location). Then use VB script in WinCC to access it. This will be very similar to what you would do if you had to do this using VB and some database. There are no controls availabel on WinCC for displaying/editing data. You will either have to use some active X table control OR you will have to create IO fieldsand thenpopulate the table data into these fieldsusing your scripts.

Ates Posts: 198 Rating: (17)	actually if recipes number (which will be entered and will be used) is less then 200 you can use plc to do it. you can open db's and enter all values to those db's make some menus, pdls like load recipe - delete recipe etc. So decide what will be stored in plc and what will be in wincc. if its bigger then 200 recipes then i think you can use user archives or your own tables, but you can do it with user archives in my idea. or another solution simatic batch maybe .. which is too much for such thing in my idea.
