Hello! Is there any redundant CPU, but without being fail-safe? |

Hello radu.ch; The S7-1500R/H system manual will provide you with the technical information on the "standard" (non-failsafe) S7-1500H and S7-1500R CPU: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109754833/143495031563 If your goal is to integrate a S7-1500R/H system with integrated F-Safety, you need a S7-1518HF-4 PN (programmed with Step 7 Safety v17) with additional synchronization modules and cables: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109795742 Hope this helps, |

Hello radu.ch; I think you might hsve misunderstood my earlier reply. Ypu need S7 Safety only if you are configuring a pair of S7-1518HF_4PN CPUs as redundant PLCs. For all other models if S7-1500R/H CPUs you meed Step 7 v1x for configuration, no Safety orogram is required. From the same manual proposed earlier; https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109754833/143487531019 Hope this helps, |
