Hello sina20795 arguably the easiest way is touse Profibus DP based communication via aY-Link and the FAQ below has all the details on how to do so (Note that the limit of this communication is 244 Bytes each way): How do you configure an S7-300 CPU or a CP342-5 as DP slave to an S7-400H as DP master using a Y-link? I hope this helps |

Hello sina20795 ok, I missed the fact that you have a Software Redundant System (SWR). It'll still work just as well though but again be mindfulof the 244 I/O Byte Limit of the Y-Link. If you only use one Y-LInk, each of the S7-300 SWR CPU's can only use 122 Bytes of I/O's to exchange with the S7-400H. I suggest you use one of these Bytes to send out the SWR status Byte to the400H, so that the 400H systemknows which dataset is the onefrom the current"Master"of the 300SWR system. You can of also course use one Y-Link per 300SWR CPU/CP342-5 in case you need to exchange more data(but the principe of evaluting which one is the Master 300 SWR CPU applies here too). I hope this helps |
