Let me share my thought Assuming take the consideration of Tank 1 ,2, and 3 out of the scope, now i consider only tank 4, the LB, the discharge valve and the VFD motor. I will separate the logic to two-mode (selector block) Mode 1 - Discharge Valve closed. 1. Determine the minimum speed of the VFD, assuming the minimum speed is 60%. When the level below the setpoint X, start the VFD at minimum speed, fill the LB up to target septoint Y. 1. set the PID in manual , PID MV Track On, start the VFD with minimum speed for "A" seconds. ( you may have setpoint "B" for the higher pump speed to fill up the level when the discharge valve open, run it for "A" seconds, after the flow stabilize, regulate it with PID) 2. after "A" seconds, set the PID in auto, MV Track Off , let the PID to regulate the speed according to Target setpoint Y. Hope it gives you some ideas. |

There are two type of setpoints in your library (the name of the library is Advanced Process Library -APL) 1. Internal setpoint , SP_Int , Operator setpoint from HMI 2. External setpoint, SP_Ext , Program setpoint from Linkable input from CFC/SFC there are selector in your program too, name "SP_LiOp", if you set to 1, it will take the setpoint from external setpoint. If you set to 0, it will take the setpoint from HMI. |

Connect a PID , then you will be able to regulate the speed. |
