Dear Participent, Today i exercised same thing. Iopened project and startedwincc flexi Runtime in one pc, while in second pc i am able to access first one through Smart access.This was done in office LAN. Now i want to do it from remote area.then what setting is required? Does it require TS adaptor?or what hardware? rgds Ashish Splitted from Remote control of " Runtime PC HMI " by Internet Explorer. |

Hi, You have two IP Addresses. One is the worldwide web IP address which is geographical and shows where in the world you are and the other on eis your local IP Address back in Your office. For connecting these two together, you need a bridge. 1. you can have a server running back in your office which lets you to VPN to it from outside and get access to the local Ethernet running in your office 2. Use a VPN Router which gives you access to the local Ethernet network 3. You can use Siemens Scalance S602 which acts as a VPN router and connects two IP Addresses together.
