Rename the block name

Hello, Which version of TIA Portal you are using?I did it for an FB, I have created without error.As I called the FB in OB1,I renamed my FB and I got error and that cleared by block update. In project for S7-300/400 is hidden, not possible. I have to make a new FB, define a name, after is no londer possible to change.

Hello, Where did you select the block to rename it?I tried an FB in "Program Blocks" (for S7 315) folder and as you can see in the attachment, renaming option (even with F2) is possible. Symptoms: "Rename" isn't available in the drop-down menus for the blocks and the name field is greyed out if entering options. This can be FC/FB etc. even an empty LAD FC. Solution: After restarting the application completely I can usually select "rename" on the blocks again.

K0ICHI It's 2020 and it still happens. 10 years left of Step7 Classic support. Maybe it will be fixed by 2030? would it be possible to attach a screenshot in the case it is not working? Maybe it will be fixed by 2030? If you're online click offline button and then the rename option will appear again in the context menu.
