mehrdad.a Posts: 39 Rating: (0)	Hi Can i use more than 7 RTM (SFC2,SFC3,SFC4) in a CPU? why i can not use SFC101 in some CPU's? How can i read CP fault and send it to HMI ? thanks

SteveA Posts: 297 Rating: (41)	You can only use as many real time clocks as are available on your CPU. Some CPU's have only 1, some 4, and some have 8. I don't know of any with more than 8, but there could be. SFC101 is only for CPU's with 32 bit real time clocks. Most CPU's have 16 bit clocks so they don't support SFC101. SteveA

If you want to know wich SFCs and SFBs you can use inthe CPU you're using you should do an upload of these blocks. A 'nice' example is when replacing a CPU314IFM by a CPU314C-2DP where internal functions are used. If you want to dislpay errors on Siemens HMI, you can use Report System Error (RSE). In ProTool and WinCC flexible you have to enable some options and I believe in WinCC also. For the CPU it is also quiet simple: go to the hardware configurator select the CPU go to the options menu select Report system Error. For more information you can see your programming manual or have a look at the support siteand the words'report system error'.
