S210 - Off1 ramp time (p1121)

How do you actually trigger braking along the OFF1 ramp when you are only using an S210 and tech objects?? I have tested with MC_Power (mode = 1), and found that it uses the OFF3 (p1135) ramp time. Similarly, MC_HALT does not seem to use p1121 either. Safety functions such as SS1 also use p1135.

When I am using TO I usually leave p1120 and p1121 at 0.0 as the values for dynamics that are used are in the TO configuration. Just check Help for the motion instruction you are using and see the meaning of Acceleration/Deceleratio/Jerk inputs.

It is the TO itself generating the velocity profile according to the set parameter in the TO.

 Thanks, it does make sense that the TO is generating the setpoints, which is why I am wondering why the p1121 parameter is even there! There must be some function that makes direct use of it, but the s210 only works with TOs as far as I know, so I don't see how that is possible.
