S5-115 32 bits inputcard flips sometimes, only inside the CPU

I have a S5 115, with 942 CPU with ram extention, in 1 CR1 rack fully filled with inputs, via IM305 an extentionrack fully filled with outputs, with not a very complex program, whitch runs since 1992,and witchisnot changed very much lately. The next to last card (EB20-23) seems to work good, but if you patiently keeps looking (1-10min) to all the bytes with 'Status variables' ones in a while all the inputs that were 1 reads 0, whitch has an strong effect on my proces. Not all the inputs reads 0 at ones, it looks as ifthey goes random on and off (0-30s), and sometime they all stays 0 for a longer time (0-30s). If I measure the voltage on all inputs that are 1 it seems perfect, I can not discover any disturbance with a scope, either on inputs that are 1 or 0. I changed the input card, I changed the CPU, I changed the backplane, I changed the IM305, no results. Because the last inputcard (EB24-27) was not used yet, I changed all the inputs in the the program to that card ('umverdrahten manuel), and the problems in my proces are gone, but when I monitor the 'problem card' with some inputs on 1, the problems stays. I have to change back the inputs eventually because otherwise I have to change the drawnings, the names and everything, and I don't want to do that. Who knows a solution for this very strange problem? Why only this card? |
