S7-1200 freezes with PAC3200 + KTP

piotr.swornowski Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hi everyone, I've developed small energy analyzing system. The main devices are S7-1200, PAC3200 and KTP600. It works fine - PAC measures all electrical data, S7 proccess them and then project needed data on KTP panel. All devices works in etyhernet network with Modbus TCP/IP. The problem is, that S7-1200 freezes sometimes while projecting data on KTP. PAC3200 works fine, but there are no changes in projected data. The situation takes few seconds - 1 minute and after that time is starts to work fine again. There is no difference if the scan rate is 200, 500ms or even 2 seconds... In one step I recieve up to 20 registers from PAC, so the data 'weight' shouldn't be a problem. Can someone help me? I've got completely no idea what is wrong.

piotr.swornowski Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hi, Both KTP and PAC are fine. I can make changes in ktp (change screens, use screen keybord etc). As far as I can see, the problem is PLC. When everything works fine, without disurbances all devices works normally. Let's say: - Scan rate is 500ms (or 1s, nevermind) - PAC measures electrical data - PLC collect them (Rx/Tx diode flashes) - KTP output data in I/O fields (with scan rate). When S& freezes: - Scan rate is still 500ms (or 1s, 2s ...), - KTP works fine, I can push any button or screen, but there are no data changes in I/O fields. - PLC Rx/Tx diode is continous light, it doesnt flash anymore. - situation takes 5-30 second and the communication comes back (diod flashes, I/O fields output data and so on...). I hope I've explained everything clear enough. I wonder what can be wrong. I also tried to log in online mode in step 7 (v10 TIA), and it doesn't provide any errors in PAC data block status. Maybe I will try to change firmware both in PLC and PAC. Greetz
