I want to operate a PLC (S7-1200) thr' HMI runtime simulation.I tried it , but it doesnt work.It gives an error saying"Tag can not be written to the PLC". Can anyone tell me whether it is possible to do so, and if Yes, Please let me know the procedure |

Hi Madhuri I've never simulate HMI software on PC with S7-1200, just S7-300, S7-400 but I think it's similar. First, choose right HMI Connection Driver to connect to PLC, may be PLC-SIM (if you use PLC Simulator), or Ethernet card (If you use Profinet or Ethernet), or CP5611 (if use Profibus or MPI).. Second, compile your HMI runtime (rebuild all) and use WinCC RT Start to start HMI runtime. Now you can connect HMI runtime to your real PLC or sim PLC. Good luck |
