Is there any method to modify the S7-1200 modbus library? B.R I don't think there is a way to modify the S7-1200 library. Even if there was, it should not be in this case as the 3.5 character time break between messages is a requirement of the modbus specification and as such the S7-1200 is performing correctly. If the slave device is starting a new message less that 3.5 character times after the previous message, then it is breaking the modbus protocol specification and as such is not a compliant modbus device. In this case, it is the slave device that should be fixed not the S7-1200 (master).

ABHIGODU Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi I have a S7-1500 1511-1PN with CM PtP Communication Module as Modbus Master. I also have an Energy meter as Modbus slave. Meter has Slave Address 10. I configurated MB_COMM_LOAD with 9600 baud, Parity 2, RESP_TO 1000. I also set interface to 8 data bits and 1 Stop Bit. Now I try to read communication status with MB_MASTER. I entered the slave adress 10, Mode 0, Data_Addr 43911, Data_Len 2. When I send the Request. FB is busy, TX-LED on Communication Modul is blinking only ,RX LED is not blinking. After every request the status of Modbus Master block keeps on switching between 7000 to 7002. My question is now what I can do or what I have forgot, not getting a communication. I am not receiving any Data from Slave. I checked on Modscan there its giving value. But not in PLC.Pls So, has anybody an idea??
