What are the remote I/Os? One way to run and stop the CPU is via HMI event so you can connect a PLC tag ( I mean any tag on PLC side) to a tag on HMI and set an event "Value Change" to "SetPLCMode>Stop". I tested it and it works but the HMI tag has to be connected to something otherwise it doesn't work. Not sure why so I connected it to animate a button. How the PLC tag is triggered is up to you and can range from diagnostic events to communication ones. |

Hello, but why you want that the PLC goes into STOP mode? normally is the opposite, we do not know your process but putting a machine in a stop mode is dangerous, perhaps it is better to monitor the cards and go out with an alarm. |
