Hello datttt98; You show a WinCC v7.4 SP1 station in your screenshot. WinCC v7,4 SP1 does not have the requirements to setup a connection to a redundant S7-1500H system. It can establish a connection to tehe primary CPU for example, using the S7-1200/1500 channel, but in case of loss of the primary CPU it cannot switch connection to the standby CPU. You can verify this in the following document, in Ch. 5: To do a changeover from the primary to the standby S7-1500H CPUs, you need WinCC v7.5 SP1, as described in this .WinCC v5.5 SP1 Information System document, in the redundant S7-1500R/H section: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109772961/127349029387 You could possibly try the example VB code used in WinCC v7.5 with your present system, but I have a nagging feeling it will not work. You need to be able to establish a system IP address aloowing connecto to primary and standby CPUs in turn, and I believe this faculty is only for WinCC v7.5 SP1. Read the section "Configuring Redundant Control Systems" in the same manual: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109772961/121614915979 Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |

Dear Daniel Chartier, it means wincc v7.4 sp1 cannot connect to system s7 1500H via system IP. Thanks! |
