S7-1500H & IO Device with S1 redundancy integration

Upendra.D Member Joined: 10/15/2018 Last visit: 7/5/2023 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hello all, How to integrate IO device with S1 redundancy (ex: 6ES7 155-6AU01-0BN0) with 6ES7 517-3HP00-0AB0 S7-1500H PLC? As per Entry ID: 109754833 https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109754833 taken switch 6GK5208-0BA00-2AC2 and added the IO Device but got error attached. Denilson Pegaia Platinum Expert Joined: 9/23/2005 Last visit: 10/4/2024 Posts: 4349 Rating: (1446)	Hi, in the related SIAMTIC S7-1500 S7-1500 R/H redundant sytem manual, https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109754833, chapter "3.1 Requeriments", table 3-1, page 50 stay: " PROFINET devices • All PROFINET IO devices assigned to the S7-1500R/H system must support system redundancy S2. These PROFINET IO devices can be located in the PROFINET ring or they can be separated with a switch. "

Enkrott Experienced Member Joined: 4/15/2013 Last visit: 9/3/2024 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	The IO Device 3 is assigned to PLC 1. On [Network View] you can select it, right-click and "Assign a new DP master / IO controller". This way it will became "Multi assigned"
