Helmut_13 Posts: 2930 Rating: (432)	Hi, this LED is also a dignostic LED. Please check if you settings in the PLC forcing the LED to show dignostic information. One point I can remember is if you do forcing of any bit or value, then the LED turns on. Check and delete all forced values. Hope this helps

The led in this case is red and no communication. Red led is System error and the plc should go to stop. Does the PLC react on the stop switch ? If not it is faulty and needs to be replaced. The Stop led don't light up.I use Step-7 MicroWIN and I can't connect the CPU with PPI - RS-485 cable I try wipeout and I can't connect the CPU.How to reset thisfail and connect the CPU? Here they are again: Test PPI cable with other PLC. Set PLC in Stop with switch. Select search all baudrates. Local adres should not be 2,try different adresses. Disconnect extention modules. If there remove memory card. if you have the program or no longer need it clear the PLC. Can you get online with this PLC? Regards, Marcjan

choychowin Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	I have the same issue with a S7-200 plc. It is showing Red LED on SF/DIAG and Yellow LED on STOP. No response on input triggerring. No communication established. CPU224, 6ES7-214-1AD23-0XB0 Via cable 6ES7-972-0CB20-0XA0 I think it is the CPU hardware problem.
