S7-414 LEDs flashing

AutoGen_939406 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have a SIMIATIC S7-414-4H CPU (6ES7414-4HJ04-0AB0 Firmware V 4.0.7 & S/N: SVPU5412218), I am repeating facing all LED s blink on CPU. I have reset several times and it has reseted but again it has appeared after day or 2 days. I am trying to connect with software , but due to all LED s flashing, i couldn't able to connect it and Diagnostic Buffer too. someone knows that it can be? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from flashing all LEDs on the CPU.

All LEDs blinking is a known issue for S7-400 specifically for S7-400H.If you power cycle the problematic CPU without batteries, and the problem is still existing in your CPU, I think it is a serious internal fault to be rectified by the manufacturer. Simply connect to the standby CPU,Find the exact time that the intact CPU lost connection to the erroneous CPU, save the buffer and send them to SIEMENS support for more helps.The ultimate solution is to send your CPU for the nearest SIEMENS service shop for an inspection and repair. In normal mode, by upgrading the firmware of CPU(f.e: firmware from 4.5.3 change to 4.5.7 ) the problem will be solved. Both CPUs (Master and standby) firmware must be the same. Note: if problem after upgrade the firmware not solved, downgrade both CPUs Firmware to the previous version again. * You can find out the Firmware of CPU just by searching CPU name in google (for example/ Upgrade 6ES7414-4HJ04-0AB0 Firmware**).
