S7 5.4sp3 has lost my license??

dperez Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	I recently upgraded to s7 5.4 sp3 from s75.3sp3. Now I have 3 s7's listed in my license manager: S7 5.4 - licnense expired!!!! S7 5.3 Professional 2004 5.3 - still has my license (unlimited) S7 5.4 Upgrade - Also with unlimited license But I cannot open my S7 because it says my license has expired!! Can anyone help me to get my license to the right place??? Thanks

Wizard Diamond Member Joined: 4/24/2006 Last visit: 12/20/2024 Posts: 8786 Rating: (1172)	Dear dperez, You just have to perform a License upgrade Select the license (Step7 v5.3) Go to License Key -> then select Upgrade Then you will have a Step 7 v5.4 floating license and Step 7 v5.3 license will be disappeared. dperez Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Sorry, but I have tried that. The exact message I recieve for this is "No matching upgrade license keys were found" I am not sure what I can do to renew my license...

Dear dperez,

I think you have a problem

You've got a Floating license: Step7 v5.3 Professional
And a Upgrade license Step7 v5.4 basis.
They don't match.

You have bought the wrong upgrade package.

You must have the Step7 professional upgrade

I can receive the correct software (as I guess our IT department installed the wrong software), but now will I have to completely uninstall the S7 5.4 that is currently on my computer before I can install the S7 5.4 Proffessional edition? Or is it posible just to upgrade or repair to the correct version? And thank you for your help thus far...It is much appreciated.

I do notthink you will have to uninstall Step 7 v5.4 Best regards, Wizard
