S7 Operation Log does not work

nasibe Posts: 62 Rating: (0)	Hello I write a software to control with S7,and redundancy 400H hardware. I add a page for operation log ,and also add its script,but in run time view I don't have any log while I set global script runtime in wincc startup,can you help me why it doesn't work and what other setting I should set to logging operations?

hdhosseini Diamond Member Joined: 1/28/2009 Last visit: 10/26/2024 Posts: 6852 Rating: (1365)	Hello, If there is no problem in your H-systems, try again to check: If you can read values in your operation page in SIMATIC WinCC,this will help help you to find out if your communication link in intact. If you have alarms and trends to be archived, there are 2 different selection box for each in start up section of project properties . Activate them and test again. If these comments don't help, please provide more information with some snapshots. I hope this helps, hdhosseini

nasibe Posts: 62 Rating: (0)	I think it makes a mistake.I have Alarm Logging and also Tag logging with correct operation in runtime mode. but I want operation list such as all operator actions in pages and all of other actions of runtime that logged with script Operation Log.which setting should I do? Do you have configured this message-number in the Alarmlogging-Editor ? If not, the message can not be displayed, for the reason of missing configuration data. You can check, if you can find this message-number in the table "dbo.MsArcLong" in your Archivesegments of Alarmlogging. If it is not there, the script does not generate it. nasibe Posts: 62 Rating: (0)	Thanks for your information,but this script and its explaination is about user-defined operator input message in wincc,and I mean to log all actions in runtime mode,as operator start pump P01A,Operator close some valves,or user changed &....,I don,t want operator enable to write message in alarm list about per alarm.I want log actions that may be alarms. can you understand my mean?

And all messages are stored in the Alarmlogging-Archives. Not all messages are "Alarms" of course, there are different kinds of messages, i.e. status-message (a door was closed) or operator-message (the operator has startet a motor). The relevant question is can you find this message-number in the table "dbo.MsArcLong". If yes, it was generated by the script, but maybe, it will not be displayed in the Alarm-OCX, for the reason of missing configuration data. If no, it was not generated by the script, and have to check the script, what maybe the reason. Regards Georg Berghof

nasibe Posts: 62 Rating: (0)	Hi after a lot of trying to find why my alarm logging don't create operation log alarms,I find : My Operationlog can not create operation massages,may be because I changed alarm logging setting in message class and other things,then I generate Operation log script,do you know how can reset my alarm logging to default setting? I don't want to create new wincc with all setting and internal tags,so it take long time,if you know a better way please say me.

If you call the function "ISALG_OperationLog" you give with the parameter "psMsgNumber" the number of the message, which should be generated. A message with this number must exist, in the Alarm-configuration of course. And it should be in a class without state "gone", because the function generates the message only with "come" state.
