S71513-1PN Limitations in using WR_REC and RD_REC

How about CPU S71513-1PN: 1.What is the limitations of number of simultaneous jobs when using instruction RD_REC and WR_REC. I am using this instructions to read parameter data from Danfoss FC302 drives? 2.Is there an other way to read DPV1 data from profinet slaves besides using RD_REC and WR_REC? (using TIA V12 + SP1 and S71513-1PN) 3.When to use WRREC and When to use WR_REC, and what is the different between the instructions?. Thax for your help

Up to now I note that: 1 - RDREC/WRREC are avaliable for S7-1200 and 1500 and are based in HW_IO address; 2 - RD_REC/WR_REC are avaliable just for 1500 and are based in LADDR address (S7300/400 compatible).

Thax for your help @1: I don't know the exact numbers, but normally the limits for the 1500 are higher than the limits of the 300. @2: As far as I know there's no other way to read DPV1 data. @3: Here's a short comparison between the instructions: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/23584640 For more details I recommend to look into the TIA-Portal Online Help.

You can use 10 jobs together with the SFC58/59 und SFB52/53 on every S7 1500. It's independent of the CPU-type. 2. No, there is no other way to read or write DPV1 data from profinet. 3. RD_REC/WR_REC are system functions and RDREC/WRREC are system function blocks.You can use both, but we advise to use RDREC/WRREC because they are the newer ones. The system functions RD_REC/WR_REC came first but then they decided to program new function blocks for read and write. Thanks to Mr. Dominik Buhrhis - Technical Support Germany - for the help
