Hello Lalit, It'srecommends to short circuit unused analog channels and deactivate them in HW configuration Check this thread. I assume you are using analog inputs and outputs of 4-20mA. 1- For the 331-1KF01 module, Resistance will not do alone because thismodule is most likely used as analog input for active 4 wire transducers. So, it's not a matter of resistance and it's a matter of current source. One solution is to use external power supply and appropriate resistance considering card impedance for current measurement as zero. The connection should be as shown in page 272 (for 2DMU)in S7-300 Module data manual (I think you already have it) So let's say your desired current is 6 mA then your resistance should be = 24VDC/6mA = 4 K Ohm. 2- For the 332-5HD01 module, Yes, 250 Ohm will be good. 3- For RTD 100 Ohm means zero degree. It will work. 4- For CP341, I don't think you will receive it with bus connector. quote user="lalit"] Additionally my question is in case of Digital input Module (6ES7-321-1BH02-0AA0) & Analog/RTD input as mentioned aboveI don't need to provide the 24 VDC external power to the module. where as in case of Digital out put and analog output I would need external 24VDc power for the module. Please confirm Thanks Ok the digital input module and analog input module (331-1KF01) do not need external power supply. The RTD module 331-7PF01 requires 24VDC at pins 21 & 40. Best regards. H-H |
