S7300 DO Problems

Running Hill Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Dear Experts, I'm currently working on a S7-300(315 DP). When I download the code into the PLC, everything seems normal but found no outputs on the DO module(SM322). (There is DI module(SM321) on the system too. Q5.4 is the reverse of I0.0, so because I0.0 is off, Q5.4 should be on.) So I used the monitor to watch the input and the output. It indicates the input and the output. So the input is working normally. And I also checked the power on the output module, there 24V on it. So what's wrong with it, should I judge that there is malfunction in the output module?

Dear member the quick way of testing a DO independent of logic, FORCE Q5.4 is much easier to underestand the difficulty.If you force and the corresponding LED is not on on the DO you have problem in configuration or DO is not energized.If the LED on and final element is not energize check the external circuit in MCC or some where contact used. BR Thank for your reply. Actually just after I send this message I forced the Q5.4 in the monitor window. Also it looks right in the monitor, but still can't see output light on in the PLC.

In order to do so, click on the DO cards you think accomodate Q5.4 -> right click and then select monitor modify.Here you can see status of all DOs with their address.select monitor. Note that for forcing you should do a different scenario. go to SIMATIC Manager->PLC then select display force variable . Anew windows apperars which is resemble to the variable table. Enter Q5.4 and write "true" in front of the variable , click right and select FORCE. To remove force , select the row and DELETE FORCE. Forcing should be done if you are sure no thing dangerous may happen for personel or machineries. BR

Best regards, Hristo Mihalev Hi, Hristo I'm sure there's no falut on CPU, because the supplier justsend it to us this 5h ago. Actually we have another 315-2DP, but can't connect to the computer, so we think it may be broken and bought the current one. And LEDs on the CPU works normally.
