In case you have just a H-System your configuration looks quite ok. I cannot confirm the problem regarding the two modbus licenses, while the quantity for the modbus slave license is zero. I would give it a thaught to move to the new released H-System based on profinet. Regards.

Aret Posts: 2348 Rating: (264)	According to your scheme you have 1 input power supply line. If it's interrupted whole H-system fails. Generally there should be 2 lines. As for initial inquiry - 2 standard PS is normal design in this situation, with 2 input power lines you can go for redundant PS. Also - in your case i would go for redundant, pre-assembled bundle of H-system. Of course, that depends on pricing, but in fact you'll get complete H-system without thinking if you had forgot to order some tiny, but important part.

In the meantime, I was just wondering apart from these, if my configuration is ok, and if that will work with my specified hardware. Let me know, if you see any other issue.

We don't use redundant PS in CPU Rack,instead we use redundant main power supplies. Can be even an advantage for I/O rack supply, when using more racks. 2 seperatepower supplies per rack will not be required and you spare rack space. Regards.
