save value on INT

Hello all

Im have very litle problem. My program is ok but if I disconnect plc from power 24DC I lost my data on INT tag. For example INT - steps of proces in my program 

1 check sensors

2 start motor one 

3 stop motor one 

4....

I need menber my int value if i disconnect from power. 

Thanks for reply its not big problem but this is for safety on proces in my project thanks :)

I think you are using MW.

use DBW and enable the retain check box.

you can create Data Block for your data to be saved for other time, also data will be available after power off of PLC.

Just a little adding:

If you use standard (not optimized) access, than all the content of the DB will be retained (if retain is selected).

If you use optimized block access, you can selected only your INT to be retained.

 Dear Marek,

Create new Data block and add the new members that you want retentive at power failure.

Then you need to check the retentive property and as well as in the attributes column please uncheck optimize block access

prepared 2 pictures how to define DB block to save your INT value. On Picture 1 steps show sequence for creating global DB block. Point 3. show selection of access to block, you can select as you require to retain your data. On Picture 2 steps show how to define your INT Variable and how you can set it as Retain. Pls after this sequence compile your DB block to make changes ok. Hope this helps you.
