SCL: operator CASE of... block reinitialization

hello everyone

there's a question on the code below.

For example the condition in state 2: didn't satisfied for some reasons and sequence got stuck in state 2:

Could anyone suggest a way which makes the code to begin with state 1:?

When the block is disabled/enabled again or so.

Update:

Since #state is static, there should be a way to reset current value while block enabling. Or something like this.

as I know there is no way to recognize a reenabling of a block inside this block.

But you could (of course) use a reset condition (e.g. create an edge signal from the signale you use form enabling/disabling the block) and write something like this:

IF "DB20_Dummy_Glob_DB".reset = true THEN
#state := 1;
END_IF;

The block somehow remembers that it was stuck at 2:  and starts acting with this position, despite of  #state :=1  is set externally.  That's the point.

In other words when  #state :=1 is set externally. It's seen online that at 1:  the #state :=1,

however, at the same moment at 2:  the #state :=2  still persist!

sry but I see your code as not correct. Your primary condition is in my first look that IF condition, not #state so still I see logical code (from my first look sry, only generally):

CASE "DB20_Dummy_Glob_DB".test_byte OF
#a:  // do smth

#state := 2;

END_IF;

#b:  // do smth

#state := 3;

END_IF;

#c:  // do smth

#state := 1;

END_IF;

END_CASE;

Yes, probably syntax errors are exists, also not acceptable variables due CASE but also I see very simply your solution with simple IF segment than bother with CASE block.

you set #state to 1 and in the next moment (cycle) it is set to 2?

Then you have to set "DB20_Dummy_Glob_DB".test_byte to a value different than #a so that the IF-query is False.
