Hello, maybe we should start a step before that. It is not enough to send only a speed setpoint. Of course you also need a control word to switch on the drive etc. In this control word there is also a bit (bit 10) called something like "PLC Lifebit", which is neccessary to send from the PLC to p854 of the drive. Without getting this bit, the drive will not receive anything from the PLC. So in your case you should really use a standard telegram for speed control (e.g. telegram 1). With those standard telegrams the control word and the speed setpoint are automatically configured in the drive. This makes it much easier for you to communicate to the drive. On your PLC side you need to know the structure of your telegram. Then you could have for example a global DB which is set up like your telegram and you write your commands into this DB. With SFC15 you send the write part of your DB (as record input) to the drive. The address for SFC15 is your I/O address of the telegram of the drive. Here you find an example program for S120 at S7-300/400 PLC: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/68624711 Inside this project you will find useful UDTs which are showing the structure of telegram 1. Also SFC15 is used there. I think the project and the documentation will help you to understand the communication to the drive. You can ignore the safety part if you do not use safety in your application. |
