Servomotors overheating

Good afternoon forum,

I have a table that moves in x and y using two servo drives (V90) and there corrisponding servomotors (without break)

they are overheating and reaching 120ºC when i use them,

My question is is there any parameter that i can modify to reduse the force so they dont overheat as much?

 The wiring and settings are all how they should be , i have another servo working on a rubber belt  with the same settings and hw which dosent cause the same problems, the servo that is causing problems is connected via a metal gear on a ball screw which has more direct impact on the servo.

The problem is that it moves the table fine at around 7nM but when it stops it retains the force and most times the force increses 10nM

if i can reduce the stationary force then i think that will do it but i dont know if theres a parameter or setting for that

Servo wants to stay in position (if machanical system moves,it will produce fault) so torque is so high.....probablyit willnot be possible to decrease "stationary" torque without loosing position...

You will probably have to change mechanical system....

 The strange thing is that there is no oposing force when its stationary, im just moving the table back and forth and in movement it uses less force than stationary and if i turn the servo off i dont lose my position but obviously i cant do that every time i stop my servo because i would have to recalibrate it all the time

Have do done an actual drive commissioning/motor identification/speed controller optimization/Position control optimization?

Further, if your torque is increasing at standstill, something is causing that to happen.  Regulators don't just do things unless it is a response to an action.

 The torque stays at a constant force but the temperature of the motor increases when the torque is above a certain level,

Im with the machine all day today so ill redo a comissioning to see if i have missed something, furthermore i was informed by one of the mecanics that he has tightened the table to make it more stable so that must be why its overheating,

After doing my first tests i have seen that the motor is trying to put the table in the exact posicion but cant so it keeps the high torque untill i advnce the posicion a little bit more then the servo moves and the torque drops.

Going to see if i can adjust it myself if not im going to have to tell the mecanic to loosen the table.
