Should I isolate my P2P TCP/IP network?

Note: This is a test environment solely for the purpose of learning PCS7

I have 3 410-5H pairs that I'm thinking I want to communicate P2P over ethernet CP443-1 modules. I'll be communicating with my ES/OS over ethernet as well and was thinking I'd set that up on a separate subnet out of the X5 port on each.

So I'm wondering:

1. How to prioritize the CPUs ethernet port -vs- a separate card...
2. Whether it's even necessary to isolate the P2P network from the interface with ES/OS...
3. If ethernet is preferable over Profibus for P2P...

Any advise would be greatly appreciated

I would definitely set up a separate network (Ethernet) if I were you.
