I clear all memory system control by rotary switch(S3=1)and boot by default data and after update(S3=2)and load system software by winpcin and after auto restart system, display the alarm! ERROR NO BOOT2? please help me

Are you using you the latest tool box veriosn or the OLD version....if your using the old uninstall. the same and install the new one and check.... Check it out....and Revert back.... If you have saved data earlier...keep S3 to 3 (power up with the saved data) option will appear. select this... old saved data will come in to the picture...after this freshly take the offset..... If you want to carry out the update(refer Commissioing instruction, Chapter5) Þ PC: Select the system software in the Toolbox802SC_bl_TOOLBOX_04.02.04\System\040204\enc0.abb Þ WINPCIN binary format, baud rate 115200 Þ Control: Þ OFF Þ Set the commissioning switch S3 at the rear of the unit to position "2" (SW update) Þ ON A chessboard-type pattern is displayed on the screen together with the messages: DRAM CHECK Þ UPDATE Þ WAIT FOR SYSTEMSOFTWARE Þ It is imperative that you wait until the chessboard-type pattern slowly "flows" downwards! Þ Only then, start the data transfer at the PC - under no circumstances should you do this earlier! Þ The bar display shows the download progress. Note: Þ It is not permissible that data transfer is interrupted! Þ Under no circumstances should the control be shut-down (powered-down) or the RS232 cable withdrawn until data Þ transfer has been completed! Þ After the data transfer has been completed the following messages are displayed one after the other: Þ ERASE… Þ FLASH… Þ UPDATE END (flashes several times) Þ VERSION S / C Þ 04.02.04Þ UPDATEÞ O.K.Þ Control OFFÞ Note:Þ If the data transfer has not been started the following messages are displayed: Þ UPDATE ENDÞ UPDATE NO DATAÞ It is then necessary to restart the control using OFF/ON (before ON [power on] wait several seconds) Þ Notice: The following messages are output if OFF/ON follow one another quickly:Þ UPDATE, Þ WAIT FOR BOOTSOFTWAREÞ In this particular case, it is only possible to power-up again after waiting approx. 5 minutes. Þ Set the commissioning switch to position "1" Þ ON The system boots with the standard machine data Þ refer to Chapter 4.2. Powering-up and booting the controlÞ OFF Þ Set the commissioning switch to position "0" (normal/standard boot)Þ ON Þ Set the protective stage to "EVENING" Regards, Ekalavya

A.Pasandi Experienced Member Joined: 12/22/2010 Last visit: 5/1/2025 Posts: 99 Rating: (0)	Dear Ekalavya, I send system software from H:\System\040204\enc0 by winpcin software: and winpcin setting is: Baudrate:115200 Parity:none Data bit:8 Stop bits:1 hardware(RTS/CTS) and standard RS232 cable and select S3 to 2 and power on system after boot and Dram check send system software file H:\System\040204\enc0 and download after 2,5MB the system control restart and missed alarm please see the attached file in this email and answering my error Attachment DSC00021.JPG (419 Downloads)

I clear NC programs and cycles by default mode(S3=1) after restart, system control go to ERROR EXCEPTION! Mode.and no normaly boot. I think System software defect. and I Resolve send system software. sorry I can't download. best regards

Ekalavya Posts: 2964 Rating: (484)	Hi Disconnect the all the cables expect powersupply(24VDC) and RS232 cable retainit. Load the system software and check.... Check your RS232 cable is proper? Could you try with the other Laptop / PC and check? Regards, Ekalavya

I think my system control have hardware problem. What is your offer for remove this alarm? Best regards
