yeapoy Posts: 17 Rating: (1)	Dear Expert, I have met a problem , when I creat a project with S7-317 2DP/PN connect to S120 with profinet. I have confuse about that: 1. I cannot assign device name for S120 in HW Config 2. I can not save and compile after seting OB61 cycle in HW Config 3. I can not find the any input/output data address display on message frame configuration of STARTER V4.3( also some sample program that creat by other personcann't display correctly.) Where you will assign the name? To the device in the project or to a online device? When online the usePLC -> Ethernet -> Edit Ethernet Nodes. When offline then click on the device in HWConfig and enter the new name. 2.) and 3.) The attached project is not the same like the project in the screenshots? in your case with the error in HWConfig you configure a IRT SyncSlave Device but no telegram is configured for isochrounous operation, Telegram 1 is not a isochrounous telegram ! yeapoy Posts: 17 Rating: (1)	Dear Mr. ChristophD, 1) I am clear for fist question, I have make a misunderstanding. 2) yes, the picture shot is copy from other sample, but problemare same with that, it can not find the address of hw config at STARTER . and for the telgraph, I change to telegraph 390, and add a drive into the project, define it's telegraph 111. but the problem same( can not save and compile at HW Confige in STEP 7) do we find some documentation about how to confige the S120 with SIMATIC S7-300 . thank you very much. There is a button "Set Up Addresses". In you picture the button is missing. Have you installed DriveES ? Only with installed DriveES the adresses and telegrams are sharing between STARTER and Step7. yeapoy Posts: 17 Rating: (1)	Hello, ChristophD, I have installed DriveES v5.4, I think it is not the reason of that, because if confige a PROFIBUS-DP slave of S120, it is no any problem of HW configration of STARTER. I think problem is the software of STARTER 4.3, maybe need install old verson can solved this problem. thank you again. Yeapoy.

ChristophD Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 5/12/2006 Last visit: 11/12/2024 Posts: 22446 Rating: (3029)	Hello, but when you have installed Step7 V5.5.2 and driveES 5.4 you should know that's this versions are not comptatible ! For Step7 V5.5 you need the DriveES V5.5. The next issue is that DriveES must installed before Starter is installed. In your case i think the PN DeviceOM of starter ist not installed correctly. And in your projects you have configure a CU320-2 PN V4.5, this Version is not available with a Starter Version < V4.3.x ! I have checked online diagnostic and found Maintenance Demanded. How can i solve this problem? My devices are …. CPU IP: 192.168.0.1. & CU320 IP : for X150 P1 is 192.168.0.15. The CU have 2 Ethernet Ports, X150 and X127. The ports must have different Subnets and different Name Of Stations, from the Message in the Screen i think that the Name for X150 is already assigned to the X127 port. Regards Christoph
