I'm having problems trying to connect a SIMATIC PC Station with a WinCC RT Professional V17 to my PLC.

I have a 1517-3 CPU which already has some supervisors from other manufacturers (InTouch), however, I need to develop a supervisor in WinCC Professional in the same project.

Here is some information:

- CPU 1517-3 PN/DP 6ES7 517-3AP00-AB00 V2.9 Communicating via Profinet
- TIA Portal V17 Update 3  - WinCC Professional V17 Update 3
- Computer with a native network card that is NOT used in automation and a USB-Ethernet adapter that is used to communicate with the PLC.

ABOUT THE INTERFACES

- My PG/PC Interface is configured with the access point in S7ONLINE, directing to my USB network adapter TP Link Gigabit Ethernet USB Adapter.TCPIP.Auto.1, as shown in figure 1

- In my connection parameters on the TIA Portal, the same USB adapter is also configured as an Access Point (NOTE: I've already tried checking and unchecking the "Set Automatically" option, but it still doesn't communicate).

- The IP of my USB network card is 172.21.140.119

- The IP I entered in the SIMATIC PC Station is the same 172.21.140.119, is that correct?

- ​I have tried several times to delete and create connections again, but each time without success.

Conclusion

Even with these settings, I am unable to communicate the SIMATIC PC Station with the PLC, however, I can leave the PLC online, download, upload, etc. on the same computer. Can you tell me if I'm forgetting any settings, or something else I can check to try to solve this problem?

Firstly, I would like to thank you for your feedback on this matter. Regarding your questions, follow below:

- I changed the PG/PC Interface configuration to TCPIP.1, but without success in communication;

- I have installed SIMATIC NET V17 on my computer, I obtained it through this link: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/br/en/view/109798403

- My PLC is a CPU 1517-3 PN/DP 6ES7 517-3AP00-AB00 V2.9 Communicating via Profinet. I checked the Secure HMI option and it is disabled.

- Regarding the security level of my PLC, it does not have a password, and the "Full Access" option is marked in the access level settings

- On the Connection Mechanisms tab, the option to Allow Access With PUT/GET is checked.

- About the Tool Channel Diagnosis, on my Runtime PC I have the "WinCC Channel Diagnosis" tool installed, would that be it? If so, I tried to run the Runtime, and HMI_Connection_1 appeared, but an "X" appeared next to it, attached is an image of it.

     Yes, my HMI Interface is set to S7ONLINE, however I have already tested all possible options here, and all with the "Set Automatically" option checked or unchecked.

Under none of the conditions did I obtain WinCC Professional communication with the PLC
