Hi.

I recently switched laptop and installed TIA V15.1 and 18.

In windows services page, i cannot find the SIMATIC pnDiscovery service that enables me to connect to HMI:s and discover stuff on the profinet network.

I just tried to reinstall TIA V15.1 Update 7, still no such service.

I know the service exe is in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Siemens\Automation\Simatic OAM\bin

But this service is not registered in services, how and what do i need to do to get this service working?

Hi,

you can install the pc-identifier, the communication drivers are installed with it.
Maybe this helps.
